This year the Chamber of Commerce along with title sponsor RE/MAX has decided to add a spooky twist to the annual Charity Golf Classic.
November 1st will be a spooktactular day at the North Sound Golf Club with sponsors and players alike dressed in their Halloween best to compete for prizes and to raise money for 3 local charities which include The Breast Cancer Foundation, Meals on Wheels and the N.C.V.O.
Sonia Starvis, Counsel at Mourant Ozannes says "At Mourant Ozannes, we believe in acting responsibly and getting involved in the community, and as part of our approach to corporate social responsibility, we operate a sponsorship policy when it comes to the three "3E"s (Education, Environment and Endeavour). We are delighted to be a Major Sponsor of the Spooktacular Charity Golf Tournament on November 1, 2013, which is a fun and creative way to help raise and donate money for three very important and deserving local charities, namely, The Breast Cancer Foundation, the N.C.V.O. and Meals on Wheels Cayman Islands".
Over the years this tournament has raised more than $56,000 for local charities as well as some great memories for everyone involved.
This is a superb opportunity to get colleagues or friends together whilst networking and having a good time on the golf course. Although there are competitive elements, this is a day for anyone – no matter what their handicap or skill level. Novices are always welcome!
