Meet the 2015 Council

The newly elected Chamber Council is a talented group of business leaders who represent different industry sectors. Newly elected members include: (Vice President) Kyle Broadhurst, attorney and director at Broadhurst LLC, and (Councillors) Gary Rutty, Managing Director of Burger King, Popeyes and Comfort Suites, Christopher Kirkconnell, Vice President, Operations, Kirk Freeport Ltd. and Derrington “Bo” Miller, Managing Director of Wastewater Purifications Systems. Returning Councillors who were elected to leadership roles include: Paul Pearson, Director of Davenport Development Ltd., (President-Elect), Colin Reid, Chief Operations Officer for Bodden Holdings, (Secretary) and Wayne Cowan, Director, Strategic Risk Solutions (Treasurer). The Chamber’s Executive Committee includes: President Barry Bodden, President-Elect Pearson, Vice President Broadhurst, Secretary Reid, Treasurer Cowan and CEO Wil Pineau, CCE. The Council meets monthly and establishes policy and the strategic direction for the Chamber. In future e-newsletters we will profile each Council member. Each Councillor represents a specific industry sector and members are encouraged to contact the Council in their industry sector on any matters of concern or to provide information about trends in the industry.
