The Central Caribbean Marine Institute (CCMI) is a Cayman Islands, UK, and US non-profit organization established in 1998. At CCMI our mission is to sustain marine biological diversity through research, education, outreach and conservation. We learn about our natural environment, teach what we know, and reach out to our community and government as partners who will benefit from that work. At CCMI we are using our resources, our people and our location to merge science and education to protect, restore and regenerate this precious resource.
