The Leadership Cayman Class for 2017 are set to meet for the first time tomorrow evening at The Wharf for an Orientation Dinner.
The Chamber received an extensive number of applicants for its flagship programme, and a selection panel eventually selected 30 individuals who they felt would make excellent additions to the newest class.
Launched in 2009, the Leadeship Cayman programme is a six-month intensive course that enables class members to develop new skills, as well as contributing to the wider community in a positive manner. The class will meet for a series of lectures throughout the course of 2017, all of which are facilitated by expert guest speakers. The topics of some of these lectures include: the media in the community, infrastructure & the environment, and the Cayman Islands Government. The class will also participate in a life & community enriching project.
Applicants looking to join the programme must be in at least a middle management position at their place of work, must have lived in the Cayman Islands for a minimum of 12 months, and must be at least 30 years of age by January 1st of the programme year.
If you and your business would be interested in sponsoring any of the seminars during the 2017 programme, please contact Nicola Burke at [email protected], or on 743-9129.
