Event Description:

Being able to delegate effectively will help to reduce stress levels, build morale and improve your team's performance.

This course provides a step-by-step process for delegating as a key management tool and is suitable for supervisors and managers who need to learn how to delegate effectively.

Topics covered in this course include:

  • The importance of delegation as a key management skill.
  • Why we don't delegate.
  • Benefits and barriers of effective delegation.
  • Steps to effective delegation.
  • Using delegation as a motivational tool.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the process of effective delegation and its role in empowering staff.
  • Determine which tasks could/should be delegated and to whom.
  • Identify barriers to delegation and how to overcome them.
  • Use delegation as a means of getting things done.
  • Review and manage progress.
