To meet this challenge, managers must improve their communication skills such as active listening, adaptability and decision-making. These core skills can assist supervisors and managers in tackling difficult issues that may arise within their workforce.
This workshop includes learning activities dealing with the components of and barriers to communication, ways of improving interpersonal communication, sources of conflict, and techniques for resolving conflict.

- Identifying different types of conflict at work and selecting the best strategy to resolve them quickly and quietly.
- Using assertive behavior rather than aggressive or passive behavior.
- Defusing conflict using an easy to follow five step method to gain control and mitigate losses.
- Using body language and active listening skills to defuse escalating conflict situations.
- Keeping your cool and standing your ground while reaching a solution.
- Learning to resolve conflicts before cross communication turns into roadblocks.
