WHAT IS THE AIM OF THIS COURSE:
The first impression and assessment of an organisation by potential clients, customers and suppliers is often based upon their contact with the firms' Receptionist. What and how something is said either in person or over the telephone can build goodwill and create satisfactory relations. This course will cover many of the skills necessary for the modern office Receptionist.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN :
You will learn the specific duties, responsibilities and qualities of a successful Receptionist including effective communications with colleagues and clients, the art of message taking and reporting, interacting with people in different settings and taking control of difficult situations. You will also learn to develop a professional image, time management and effective use of your voice and speech.

INSTRUCTOR
Catherine Tyson has conducted and facilitated various workshops and seminars here and abroad in the area of self development. Having taught at the International College of the Cayman Islands and ITLD, she specializes in the areas of Sociology, Marriage and Family Therapy and Career Counseling. She is currently a full time manager with the CI Government in the area of Human Services. Ms. Tyson has a Master of Social Work Degree from Barry University in Florida
