Council lunches with Governor

In keeping with one of the Chamber’s Strategic plan goals to keep the channels of communication open with Government, a lunch meeting was held with Her Excellency the Governor Helen Kilpatrick on Friday, April 1.

The Governor spoke with Council Members on the state of relations between the Cayman Islands and the UK, policing matters, the progress of the Project Future programme and beneficial ownership to name a few.

The Council will continue to meet quarterly with the elected Government to discuss various community and business issues.
