Cayman Islands Government Office in London Facilitates Talks with Potential Buyers of Cayman Products

Just over two months since taking up the post of Cayman’s Representative in London, Mr. Eric Bush has facilitated talks between Tortuga International Holdings Limited – producers of the world-famous Tortuga brand of Caribbean products – and potential buyers in the United Kingdom of Tortuga products, including its rum cakes.

In fact, a meeting between the directors of Tortuga International Holdings and UK-based organisations was held last month at the Cayman Islands Government Office, with an understanding that the facility would be made available for any meetings in the future.

“We want to thank Mr. Eric Bush, as well as his professional and courteous staff for their outstanding hospitality while we were London and for their offer to continue to facilitate our meetings in the future,” said Monique Hamaty-Simmonds, Director of Brand Development, Tortuga International Holdings Ltd.

She encouraged other Caymanians visiting London to make arrangements to hold their meetings at that location.

“The venue is very comfortable and is a better choice than renting an office, or driving long distances to visit suppliers who, given the choice, would jump at the chance to meet in beautiful Central London,” Monique continued.

“On behalf of the management and directors of Tortuga International Holdings, we thank Mr. Bush for hosting us and wish him a very successful term as he represents Cayman Island in the UK and seek out business opportunities for the island’s entrepreneurs,” she concluded.
