Local Pension Plan and HR Society Join Forces

Chamber Pension Plan has partnered with the Cayman Islands Society of Human Resources Professionals (CISHRP); announcing its plans to sponsor the society’s weekly newsletters and website, two of the popular breakfast sessions, as well as this year’s annual CISHRP conference and DisruptHR event.

“We are grateful to have Chamber Pension on board with us,” remarked president of CISHRP, Chris Bailey. “Working alongside a fellow local non-profit organisation feels like a perfect fit.”

Mr Bailey went on to explain the significance of partnering with a pension plan provider: “When you’re working in human resources, it is crucial to choose the right plan for your employees. Staff rely on a pension during retirement later on down the line, so it’s important that HR managers choose their providers carefully.”

The announcement came on the heels of Chamber Pension’s recent revival of their “life stories” campaign – a campaign which features various members of the plan; sharing their hopes and ambitions for the future. This round’s featured brand ambassador is Briana Bergstrom, teacher and owner of Montessori School of Cayman.

“I was delighted to take part in such an inspirational campaign,” said Ms Bergstrom. “As a business owner myself, I believe in the local entrepreneurial spirit of Chamber Pension, and I’m proud to say that I support this local organisation.”

Paul Schreiner, chairperson of Chamber Pension’s Board of Trustees stated: “With Briana’s latest life story underway, and our new HR Society partnership, this is definitely an exciting and active period for Chamber Pension. We look forward to the months ahead.”
