Motor Vehicle Accident in Bodden Town Leaves Teen Injured

On Friday 21st July 2017 at about 8pm in the vicinity of the Lighthouse Restaurant, Bodden Town Road, Breakers a motor vehicle collision occurred between a Suzuki Swift motor vehicle and a green and white Kawasaki motor cycle.

The motor cycle was being ridden by a 17 year old male along Bodden Town road heading towards East End when it collided with the Suzuki Swift which was heading towards Bodden Town being driven by a 49 year old male.

Police and paramedics attended the incident.

The rider of the motor cycle received serious injuries but not believed to be life threatening and was transported to George Town hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.

The driver of the Suzuki Swift did not receive any injuries and no other person was involved.

The incident is under investigation. Anyone with information about this accident is asked to call the Traffic Management Unit at 649-6254.
