Applications for the inaugural Business Excellence Awards are set to conclude next week on Friday, September 1.
We have generated a lot of interest in the awards, and applications have been rolling in since they opened on August 1. But we still have plenty of businesses in our membership who are yet to participate, and we are encouraging them all to get involved.
“We want to celebrate as many of our members as possible, and these awards will allow us to do this,” said CEO, Wil Pineau. “The response from our membership has been excellent, but there is still outstanding work out there that needs to be recognised, and these businesses should come forward and claim the acknowledgement they deserve.”
For those who may be unaware, there are eight categories for businesses to choose from, including:
• Business of the Year (sponsored by Digicel)
• Small Business of the Year (sponsored by Yello)
• Community Service Project of the Year
• The Eco Warrior Award
• Innovation Award
• Outstanding Workforce Development Initiative
• Commitment to Education Award
• Marketing Campaign of the Year
Those interested in submitting a project or campaign in any of the above categories should visit www.businessexcellenceawards.ky and complete an application form. We look forward to receiving your applications and we wish you all the best of luck.
