National Archive Receives Bound Magazines from Chamber of Commerce

Chamber of Commerce CEO, Wil Pineau last week presented three bound volumes of past issues of ‘The Chamber’ magazines to National Archive Director, Josette K. Lawrence.

The magazines, which were published from 2006 to 2012, were released quarterly as an insert in the Cayman Compass, with each issue focusing on different advocacy issues that were affecting the business community.

The magazines were the recipient of the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives’ (ACCE’s) Award of Excellence in 2007, and the Gold Award in 2010.

“We are proud to say that our magazines have been bound and are now stored with the National Archive,” said Chamber CEO, Wil Pineau, CCE. “Those documents are an excellent resource, overflowing with facts and statistics. I’m pleased that they will be used by researchers and students for their work.”

The magazines will be stored for use by researchers and students in the Cayman Islands, and are now available to access. Those interested in viewing them should contact the National Archive directly.
