Road Safety Measures to be Applied on Dr. Tomlinson Rounadbout

The NRA on October 26th, 2017 between 9pm and 6am, depending on the weather, will be applying an anti-skid coating on the east portion of the Dr. Tomlinson Roundabout. The NRA will be closing the east portion of the roundabout, resulting in multiple traffic diversions. The public is asked to take their time and pay close attention to any and all traffic signs and personal as well as possible diversions through this area.

The anti-skid coating is an internationally proven method of reducing road collisions. It is especially effective where loss of friction results when rain, oil and other lubricants are deposited on the roadways.

While the NRA continues to review solutions to improve road safety, it encourages all road users to remain alert to their surroundings and road conditions, follow posted speed limits and obey the rules of the road.

Officials at the NRA thank the public for its patience, as the Authority strives to improve the road network for the benefit of all users.
