CIG Release Budget Policy Statement & 2018-19 Budgets

On Friday, October 27 the Cayman Islands Government released the 2017 Budget Policy Statement and 2018-19 Budgets.

Her Excellency the Governor, Helen Kilpatrick delivered the 2017 Throne Speech to the Legislative Assembly, and was shortly followed by Premier Hon. Alden McLaughlin.

Premier McLaughlin thanked Governor Kilpatrick for her years of service, noting that this was to be her final Throne Speech. He then proceeded to deliver his Budget Policy Statement, which can be read in its entirety here.

The Minister for Finance and Economic Development, Hon. Roy McTaggart, also delivered the 2018-19 Budgets on this day, which was entitled "Maintaining Fiscal Prudence: An Inducement to Growth." Minister McTaggart's Budgets can be read in their entirety here.
