The Chamber of Commerce has partnered with DHL and COSME to host two free ‘Growing Beyond Borders’ workshops on Wednesday, August 15 and Thursday, August 16 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at their offices in Governors Square.
The workshops will identify practical guidelines for continued development of small-and-micro businesses (SMEs) in OCTs. The workshops will address best online business practices, including the improvement of e-business services and solutions, and which tools are most effective when it comes to selling products and services online.
The facilitators for the workshops include Allan Blake (Country Manager, DHL) and Bionda Fonseca-Hoeve (Vice President, Curacao Small & Medium Business Association).
Ms. Fonseca-Hoeve has over 12 years’ experience in customer service, market research, business development and acquisition. She works directly in both the public and private sectors, focusing on stimulating economic growth. Mr. Blake became the Director of Operations for DHL in October 2014, before coming Country Manager of DHL International (Cayman) Ltd. in 2017.
