Chamber Council responds to Government's steps to cut red tape

The Chamber Council commends the Deputy Governor and the public service for taking concrete steps to cut red tape across several areas of Government.

Reducing red tape and increasing efficiencies in the public sector is a primary focus of the Chamber's strategic objectives, and these steps will save time and money for businesses and residents, which can now be redirected to more meaningful activities.

We encourage the public service to identify other areas to improve efficiencies, including those that can help to reduce the cost of doing business, as well as progressing the ongoing implementation of Project Future projects.
