Mentoring Benefits Record Number of Students

Mentoring Cayman officially kicked off this week with a record 64 students meeting with their mentors in the workplace.

Established in 2002, Mentoring Cayman matches public and private high school students nominated by their principals with trained mentors from Chamber member businesses and Government Ministries and Departments.
Since its launch, Mentoring Cayman has created more than 800 relationships between students and mentors. During the six month journey the students will receive advice from trained mentors, careers advice, networking and social opportunities and attend a motivational talk by this year's YCLA recipient.

Mentoring Cayman is an education and workforce development initiative of the Chamber of Commerce and is supported and sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports, Agriculture and Lands.
