At the Chamber we believe that developing Cayman’s youth to become the next generation of business and community leaders is central to the continued success of the country. To that end, we once again are planning the new 2015-2016 session of Mentoring Cayman. Initially launched in 2002, Mentoring Cayman is a youth development initiative that has assisted more than 300 high achieving and motivated high school students to realise these goals.

We are now seeking 50 mentors from the local community to assist us in continuing this extremely effective programme, who will be willing to give some of their time for the benefit of Cayman’s youth development.

A two-way partnership, the Mentoring Cayman programme will not only greatly benefit the mentee by opening up the business world to young people within a supportive relationship, but will also provide mentors with key insight into Cayman’s youth, creating more opportunities to find potential new recruits into their business down the line. Mentors can also derive the satisfaction of knowing they have made such a positive contribution to the community.
