The Cayman Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated its 50th birthday, and 2016 sees one of our Chamber Champion members, Caribbean Utilities Company (CUC), celebrate their 50th too.
CUC have been providing public electric utility for Grand Cayman since 1966, and initiated their operations as the only public electric utility company at that time. Since then, CUC have over 200 members of staff in their employ, with over 90% of those members being Caymanian, indicating that CUC have a true adoration, respect, and care for the wellbeing of the Islands and for those who inhabit them.
To celebrate this momentous anniversary, CUC wish to extend an invitation to all members and business-minded people to join them for a Business After Hours event to showcase their business, 50 years after their debut.
As well as spending the evening with one of Cayman’s most influential and longest running companies, there will also be a number of giveaways and gift certificates to be won, courtesy of CUC, as well as cocktails and music to enhance the celebratory nature of the evening.
The Business After Hours event will take place on Tuesday May 10th 2016 at Caribbean Plaza and begins at 5:30pm. So please register for the event, and come down and rejoice with our champion member CUC for what is certain to be an electrifying evening.
