Savina and Justine’s business have been ever-present at Chamber related activities and Chamber led programmes and courses. They also offer all Chamber Members 10% off the goods in the store!

We spoke to Savina about her business and her activity with the Chamber of Commerce.

Q: What difficulties have you overcome as a new small business in the Cayman Islands?

A: Finding all the relevant information in order to start a business. I found the Department of Commerce and Investment most helpful.

Q: How do you see your business developing?

A: Slowly but surely. A balance has to be made between resources available and growth.

Q: How have you found the Leadership Cayman programme this year?

A: Leadership Cayman has exceeded my expectations. Not only have I had the opportunity to explore all the aspects of the countries’ economy through the tours and seminars, but I have made some great bonds with my fellow classmates.

Q: Why would you recommend joining the Chamber Membership?

A: The Chamber Membership offers a great support system, networking events, and learning opportunities at an affordable price. My business partner and I are very pleased with what the Chamber has to offer.
