3-Day SME Workshop Teaches Attendees How to Start & Develop a Business

COSME Workshop

Over 30 attendees were present during a 3-day workshop at the Chamber of Commerce last week.

The session, which the Chamber held in partnership with COSME, ran from Tuesday 21st to Thursday 23rd and attendees were learning how to successfully and efficiently start and run a business.

Each day had its own individual theme: with day one focusing on business planning, organisation and management; day two focusing on financial planning and management; and the final day focusing on business development and market orientation.

Mr. Prakaash Rostam, Key Expert SME & Private Sector Development Specialist (COSME) and Mr. James Andrews, Senior Managing Director Integra Realty Resources Caribbean helmed the sessions, sharing their expertise with the audience and helping them to better understand the nuts-and-bolts behind starting a company.

COSME is an EU funded program that supports small and medium sized businesses in the Caribbean Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs).

The Chamber of Commerce supports, promotes, and protects the local businesses of the Cayman Islands, and the SME Workshops that we run are an excellent way of nurturing smaller companies.
