Kimpton Seafire Ride Away with Grand Raffle Prize During Speed Networking Event

Speed Networking 5th August Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce

The Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce hosted its most recent Speed Networking session last week, Friday 5th August, at the offices in Governors Square.

The event, which gives local business an opportunity to showcase their businesses on a restricted 5-minute performance window, saw employees from the Kimpton Seafire Resort ride in on a specially branded bicycle.

Also present for the event were marketing experts Aguru Limited, health focussed Anytime Fitness, design savvy BrandSource Home Gallery, business supply retailer Cayman Business Machines Ltd., thrill-seeking George’s Watersports, health & beauty wholesaler S&D Enterprise Ltd., motor minded Tony’s Toys, and office furnishers Workplace Environments.

After enjoying some delicious sandwiches provided by Hurley’s Supermarket, the presentations began. Attendees paid close attention to their peers to find out more about their businesses, using the end of the session to continue networking to establish potential trades and future endeavours.

As with every Speed Networking session, there was a raffle draw with a grand prize to be won. This time around, a $25 Lobster Pot gift voucher was up for grabs, ultimately being won by Sam Andersen of Kimpton Seafire Resort (pictured) who posed with his prize on the bike.

The event was an excellent way to spend a Friday afternoon, and the Chamber is pleased to see that business relations are forged during events such as these.
