Chamber CEO to Travel to Europe on Fact Finding Mission

Chamber CEO Wil Pineau, CCE, will be travelling to the Dutch capital later this month as he ventures on a fact finding trip.

In Amsterdam, he will be joining other attendees as they learn more about the development of business incubators in the Netherlands.

The trip is funded by COSME, an European Union initiative, which provides small-and-medium enterprises and business support organisations in British, Dutch and French overseas territories with the support they need.

This support can range from investment and financial backing, to having a professional and experienced mentor provide you with business advice.

Whilst in Holland, the attendees will be attending seminars and presentations hosted by business professionals and programme and project directors, as well as visiting the physical incubators themselves.

The information collected from this trip should enable the Chamber of Commerce to better understand the functions, best practices and organisation of business incubators, and allow us to consider developing our own such resource. Mr. Pineau will prepare a report for presentation to Chamber Council and membership upon his return.
