The Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce is still accepting applications for the Leadership Cayman programme’s 2017 class.
First launched in 2009, Leadership Cayman is a six-month intensive course that enables class members to develop new skills, absorb vital and life-improving information, and give back to the communities in which they live.
The programme gives class members access to key business, community and Government leaders during evening seminars, as well as keynote speakers who attend Leadership Cayman lectures solely.
Leadership Cayman is the perfect programme for those in middle management looking to further their career, but need a helping hand to do so.
There are three simple requirements to be eligible for the Leadership Cayman programme.
1. Applicants must be at least 30 years of age by January 1 of the programme year (in this case January 1, 2017)
2. Applicants must be in at least a middle management position at their current place of employ
3. Applicants must have resided in the Cayman Islands for a minimum of 12 months
Our alumni have graduated from the Leadership Cayman programme and gone on to achieve great things.
For those interested in applying for the programme, there are two upcoming orientation sessions which will provide further information. These will take place on:
- Wednesday, September 21 from 5:30-6:30pm at the Chamber of Commerce, Governors Square; and
- Monday, October 3 from 5:30pm-6:30pm at the Chamber of Commerce, Governors Square.
