Community & Membership Development Committee Hold Inaugural Meeting

The Community & Membership Development Committee held their first meeting as a group last week, on September 15.

The committee - which is chaired by Chamber President-elect Kyle Broadhurst - met at the Chamber offices in Governors Square.

The productive meeting saw Mr. Broadhurst inform the attending committee members of their aims and goals, ranging from the development of workplace wellness programmes to the restoration of mangroves and road safety & beautification.

The committee swiftly elected sub-committees to tackle some of these issues in a more efficient manner, with Business Incubation, Environmental Pledge & Workpalce Wellness, and Road Safety, Beautifcation & Mangrove Restoration sub-committees being formed.

The sub-committees are set to meet before the main committee's next session, which should be towards the end of October.

Chamber CEO, Wil Pineau will also provide the Business Incubation sub-committee with some assistance, as he is currently in The Netherlands on a fact-finding mission about Dutch Business Incubators.
