The Leader of Government Business the Hon. D. Kurt Tibbetts, JP, and the Leader of the Opposition the Hon. W. McKeeva Bush, OBE, JP., have each accepted invitations to participate in The Chamber of Commerce Constitutional Forum.
The party leaders will respond to a series of questions that have been developed using past Chamber surveys dealing with governance and constitutional issues. The Forum will provide further information about constitutional issues that will inform the community about the various options for modernizing the relationship between the Cayman Islands and its administering power, the United Kingdom. It will be the first time that both political leaders have agreed to discuss the constitution on the same platform.
The Forum will begin at 12 p.m. sharp therefore interested persons should be present before this time to ensure entry. Light refreshments will be available.
