The Council held separate meetings recently with Cabinet, the Minister of Commerce and the Leader of the Opposition. Education, Employment and Workforce Development, Economic Growth and Diversification, Regulatory Efficiencies and Community Development were among the main areas discussed during the meetings (see attached report for details). The Council meets quarterly with Cabinet, the Minister of Commerce and the Leader of the Opposition. These meetings enable the Council and Government leaders to discuss issues that impact the economy and the wider community.
