The latest Chamber of Commerce’s latest Business After Hours event featured CTMH Doctors Hospital on night (Thursday, 8 November, 2018).
President-Elect Christopher Kirkconnell thanked the organization for allowing Chamber members insight into the hospital’s services.
Acknowledging the hosts, Dr. Yaron Rado, Chairman of the Board and Chief Radiologist, and Hospital Administrator and CEO Dr. Patrick Auman, Mr. Kirkconnell added, “Tonight’s focus is to celebrate the team of 120 dedicated men and women who provide the quality services at the hospital…I congratulate you on recognising the important role that each employee plays in delivering quality customer service and care.”
CTMH Doctors Hospital provides a wide range of medical services, including 24/7 urgent care, state of the art imaging, labs and surgical services, the only private maternity suites on-Island, and a range of resident and visiting specialists.
Last night’s attendees (over 100 people) entered to win outstanding raffle prizes; from dinner with the CEO (won by Jamie Preuss), to specialised medical services. They also took guided tours of the hospital.
Mr. Kirkconnell noted there have been significant developments in the field since the facility was opened 18 years ago by Dr. Steve Tomlinson. “Medicine, and our understanding of the human body, is perhaps the most dynamic of the sciences. I applaud the management and medical staff, in continuing to develop your inpatient and outpatient services over the past two years that you have been under new ownership group; which consists mainly of doctors.”
