Media Statement from Deputy Premier and Minister of Tourism, The Hon Moses Kirkconnell

The Ministry and Department of Tourism acknowledges the recent announcement by the Civil Aviation Authority Cayman Islands (CAACI) restricting any Boeing 737 Max 8 or Boeing 737 Max 9 aircraft from entering the Cayman Islands airspace. We fully support the safety measures implemented by our national flag carrier Cayman Airways and now the CAACI. 
 
My government will continue to coordinate across departments and agencies in the best interest of our country, tourism and all businesses.
