Bounce magazine now out

BounceBounce, Cayman’s first lifestyle magazine dedicated to helping readers live their best life is now out.

Packed with more than 100 pages of engaging and lively content Bounce raises the bar for magazines in Cayman which are specifically tailored towards the island’s residents.

Printed perfect bound on high-quality paper Bounce’s editorial categories cover beauty, fitness, wellness, cuisine, and life & style. The magazine is scheduled to be printed twice a year, every April and October, and will be available for free at a wide range of businesses and high-traffic locations.

Designed, developed, and conceived by the cast of creatives at Pink Duck Publishing Bounce is the third title launched by Cayman’s most forward thinking print and digital publisher, swiftly following on from the launch of The Cayman Book and Your Cayman.

The development of Bounce was overseen by PDP’s editor-in-chief, Joanna Lewis, who worked closely with art director, Damon Hardie.

Other key contributors included staff writer, Ian Swaby, and lead photographer, Janet Jarchow. The magazine’s marketing and brand development was overseen by Eleanor Smith.

“I am delighted to announce that Bounce magazine is now being distributed,” Miss Lewis said.

“The initial concept for Bounce was conceived over a year ago and is the culmination of many months of hard work and late nights by the team. We are confident that Bounce will quickly establish itself as one of the island’s leading magazines, filling a gap in the market for those seeking information on living their best life.”

In celebration of the launch, Bounce is running several exciting competitions and prize giveaways, including the opportunity to win a makeup and skincare consultation along with tailored products valued at more than $1,000, courtesy of Le Visage.

“We are encouraging everyone to pick up a copy of Bounce magazine and to follow our social media sites,” Miss Smith said. “After all, you’ve got to be in it to win it.”

PDP’s publisher and founder, Kathryn Willman, added that there has been a large amount of interest around Bounce.

“Due to its broad range of content this magazine is truly a magazine for everyone,” Miss Willman said. “Sales are now open for issue 2 and I encourage everyone to book their ad quickly as a number of prime positions have already been taken.”

The magazine will be supported by its own dedicated website – bounce.ky. The website is now being developed and is being overseen by PDP’s latest hire, digital expert Amy Hayward.

Miss Willman said: “We are on schedule to launch the Bounce website later this year. This will ensure that Bounce is a truly powerful brand that helps businesses reach more customers than ever before.”
