Education, Employment and Workforce Development is a main pillar of the Chamber's Advocacy Agenda and Action Plan (2018 - 2021).

Strengthening relationships between students and employers helps to transition them from the classroom to the world of work. So far this year members have contributed hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars to support the following Chamber education, employment and workforce development initiatives: 

Careers, Education and Training Expo was held at UCCI in February with more than 40 member businesses and organisations participating. Mentoring Cayman - 56 high school students from public and private high schools were matched with volunteer mentors from member business and government agencies.  https://www.caymanchamber.ky/mentoringcayman.html 
  
Chamber of Commerce Graduation Awards were presented at Triple C School, St. Ignatius Catholic School, Truman Bodden Law School, John Gray High School and Clifton Hunter High School     
  
Junior Achievement - The Chamber presented the Company of the Year and Sales Person of the Year awards and provides office space for the programme in the Chamber's main offices in Governors Square.     
  
The Golden Apple Awards for Excellence in Teaching will be held on Saturday, 5th October on World Teachers Day. Nominations have been received for several categories and the recipients will be recognised at the event.
