Chamber meets with Cuban representatives

Cuban Delegates and Chamber Council

Chamber President Chris Kirkconnell (second from right), Vice President Mike Gibbs (left) and CEO Wil Pineau (far right) recently met with Ines Fors Fernandez, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, and Ulises Calvo Borges, Third Secretary in charge of Consular Affairs in Cuba, at the Chamber's offices in Governors Square.

The Cuban officials, who operate out of the Cuban Embassy in Kingston Jamaica, were visiting the Cayman Islands to improve trade relations and to discuss investment and business opportunities.

They provided useful information about the process for investing in Cuba and other business activities.

They also invited Chamber members to attend the Havana International Fair from 4th to 8th November at the EXPOCUBA Exhibition site in Havana.
