Thank you Vanessa! Good luck with your studies!

Vanessa & Wil Last DayCaymanian Vanessa Burke returns to the University of Liverpool next week to continue her second year of studies in marketing after completing a three month summer internship at the Chamber of Commerce. Vanessa put her studies to good use by helping with events, programmes and special projects. "Overall, my opportunity at the Chamber has been an immeasurable and beneficial experience for my career path," says Vanessa. "I was exposed to reputable people in our country, day-to-day consumers and the lovely Chamber staff who played a role in my everyday experiences. It is safe to say that the Chamber of Commerce is one of the cornerstones in the Cayman Islands for its involvement with business, the community and the government."

Vanessa's work experience included conducting a market research report of the Chamber's Discount Card programme, assisting with Chamber events and members services including the Economic Forum, Golden Apple Awards, Business After Hours, drafting press releases and power point presentations, creating promotional items, designing contracts and editing images through photo editing software.

"Vanessa is very talented and motivated young lady and I want to thank her for her tremendous contributions to the Chamber. I wish her continued success with her studies and look forward to her return to the Chamber during her school breaks," says Chamber CEO Wil Pineau.
