Cayman Water Statement Regarding Disconnections

Cayman Water Company understands that some customers will be facing unusual hardships due to the effects of the COVID -19 virus and its impact on the Cayman Islands economy. As an essential service, Cayman Water is committed to provide you with a safe and reliable source of water through this crisis. We are therefore suspending disconnections for non-payment effective immediately to ensure that everyone has access to clean water during this crisis, and to give customers who may be experiencing financial hardships extra time to make payments. We urge these customers to pay what they can afford to avoid building up a large balance that may be difficult to pay down later.

We also urge all customers to pay their bills through one of the many alternative methods we have set up for bill payment so as to avoid visiting our offices as far as possible. We are making every effort to keep our staff and any members of the public who may need to visit our offices safe and ask you to do your part in assisting us to do so.
