BritCay transfers staff to remote working model

British Caymanian Insurance Company Limited (BritCay) has closed its offices effective Wednesday, 25 March, and has transferred all employees to a remote working model. The company will continue to service clients without any disruptions.

General Manager John Cameron said: “Further to recent developments and the Cayman Islands’ Governments guidance for all residents to stay at home, we have taken the step to transfer all our staff to a remote working model.

This decision was not taken lightly but is made in an effort to minimize the COVID-19 threat and contain the transmission of the virus. It also ensures that we are compliant with the most updated health recommendations to ensure that we protect the wellbeing of our staff and do not expose them to any unnecessary risk.

While you can expect changes to our current business and customer management processes as the situation progresses, you can be assured that we will take every precaution to ensure that our clients continue to access quality insurance coverage and the level of service that you have become accustomed to.”

The closure of the office and remote business model will continue until further notice.
