BA flight to Manila |

This will be the last flight organised by the Cayman Islands Government to Manila, Philippines. It will leave Grand Cayman on Tuesday 28th July at 21:00 and transit London Heathrow, arriving in Manila on Thursday 30th July at 12:00. You can book your seat here https://www.otairbridge.com/trips/gcm-mnl This flight will go off sale on Wednesday 15 July at 5pm (Cayman local time) PAYMENT WILL BE REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF BOOKING SO PLEASE HAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD READY Booking and payment • You will not be issued a ticket for this flight but will receive a confirmation email with a booking reference. Please check your junk/spam folders if your email doesn’t arrive. Payment can be made via Visa or MasterCard only. Amex is not accepted. PAYMENT IS IN USD. • Infants under the age of 2 years will be charged 10% of the adult ticket price, they will not be given their own seats, these are lap seats only. Children over the age of 2 years will be charged the full rate for a seat. • Tickets are non-refundable and credit will not be given for any future repatriation flights. • Once you have reserved your seat class you will not be able to change it, for example upgrades to business class won’t be possible once reservations have been made. • Any changes to the booking including amendments to names, passport numbers etc will incur an admin charge. If your details on the manifest do not match your passport at check-in you will be refused boarding. Flight • Please note that premium economy and business class seats do not come with the usual premium economy and business class service and extras that you might normally expect on a BA service. Everyone on the aircraft will receive the same snack box and alcohol will not be served, there will be no lounge access and no extras provided on the aircraft. The price that you pay for a premium economy and business class seat is for the seat itself. • If you need assistance at the airport please enter this in the assistance field when booking your seat. Seats will be assigned at check in by BA, seats cannot be assigned beforehand. UK transit • Only Philippine nationals/legal residents are able to take this flight to Manila. The Governor’s Office will submit requests for clearance to transit the UK for all passengers travelling to Manila. Please note that clearance is not guaranteed and is subject to Border Force/UK Visa approval. Luggage • Two x 23kg pieces of hold luggage is the maximum allowed on this flight per passenger. There is no option to pay for additional hold luggage. Luggage that goes above the weight limit will be left behind. Hand luggage is per the BA policy. You can take a child car seat/pushchair if required. • All luggage will be checked through from Grand Cayman to Manila. Owen Roberts International Airport • Check in opens 5 hours before departure and closes one hour before departure. • Family and friends are not allowed into the terminal and will need to leave you curb-side. • Once you have entered the Owen Roberts International terminal you will be unable to leave. Please make sure you have all your belongings with you before entering the terminal. • Shops and food outlets remain closed at Owen Roberts International Airport. Please take some snacks with you and an empty bottle to fill up at the water station once through security. Please refer to the Cayman Islands Airports Authority website for queries on the type of food that can be taken through security, including details on baby food/milk etc - https://www.caymanairports.com/ • You should take a mask with you to be used at the airport. BA to not have a social distancing policy on board and will not provide masks. You are encouraged to wear your own mask, take hand sanitizer/wipes etc. • The regular BA catering service is not available on this flight, only snack type food will be provided and alcohol will not be served. The entertainment system on board may not be working, you should take your own entertainment for the flight just in case. Arrival in London and Manila • On arrival at London Heathrow the aircraft will be on the ground for approximately 4 hours. You will have to depart the aircraft but will need to remain airside before boarding your onward flight. • Mandatory quarantine is in place in Manila, you will be allowed to leave quarantine once you have tested negative for Covid-19.
