15 at Mourant recognised as world leading private client practitioners

The strength of the private client team at Mourant has been recognised again after more of its lawyers were recommended in the latest Who's Who Legal guide than any other offshore law firm.

15 Mourant lawyers from across the firm's six offices have been included in the Who's Who Legal: Private Client Guide 2020 following recommendations from their clients and peers who have recognised them as among the best in their field.

The Who's Who Legal: Private Client 2020 guide offers an introduction to the world's leading practitioners in the areas of wills and succession planning, trusts and estates, residence and domicile, probate and charities.

Edward Devenport, International Practice Group Head, said: "Having 15 of our team recognised globally, following praise from their clients and peers, is a reflection of our individual and group expertise, which reinforces our position in the private client market.

"I'd like to thank those who took the time to nominate our team, and also congratulate our peers who are featured alongside us within the guide."

The Mourant lawyers recognised in the list include:

• Stephen Alexander
• Paul Christopher
• Gordon Dawes
• Edward Devenport
• Christopher Edwards
• Matthew Guthrie
• Bruce Lincoln
• Eleanor Morgan
• Tony Pursall
• Hector Robinson QC
• Jonathan Speck
• Jeremy Wessels

Those listed advise a variety of Mourant clients including high net worth individuals, families, trustees, family businesses and charities.

Who's Who said "while their area of expertise might vary, they will have in common a core focus of helping clients to preserve and manage their wealth for the benefit of themselves and future generations".

To be included in Who's Who Legal, each lawyer must have received four independent nominations from clients and peers.
