The Chamber of Commerce has launched its Leadership Cayman 2021 programme, with the applications being accepted from Friday October 16, to Friday, November 27.

Leadership Cayman is a six-month intensive course designed to provide leaders across the private sector (including small businesses), government agencies and departments, as well as non-profit organisations with an experience that is engaging, informative, educational and developmental. Class members attend bi-weekly seminars on a range of topics, interacting with and learning from experts and local leaders, including government officials.

The programme targets persons twenty-five years and older, who have attained at least a middle management position within their company or organisation.

“I am delighted to announce the official launch of the Leadership Cayman 2021 programme and encourage all senior and middle managers in the Cayman Islands who have not yet benefitted from this unique experience to apply for a place in the 2021 Class,” said Chamber CEO, Wil Pineau.

The Chamber of Commerce and the Leadership Cayman Planning Committee worked hard to ensure the 2020 Class received the full benefits of the programme despite the Covid-19 challenges, and are committed to again maintaining the usual high standards which have become the tradition of Leadership Cayman for the 2021 programme.

The selection process is a highly competitive one, as the programme only accommodates 24 candidates per year. Persons who wish to gain a place in the 2021 Class are encouraged to apply early and to be diligent in completing their application forms.
