Robbery in George Town, 20 October

Shortly after 10:00AM today, 20 October, officers responded to a report of an incident on Eastern Avenue, in the vicinity of Shedden Road, where a man was approached by another man who brandished an object appearing to be a firearm and robbed him of cash and personal items, before making off on foot. No one was injured during the incident.

The matter is under investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information is asked to contact George Town CID at 949-4222.
